Yes. That's what ballast bypass LED tubes (also called direct wire or Type B) are made for. The ballast is removed, and line voltage is wired directly to the tube's sockets (tombstones). That gets rid of the ballast as a failure point and its power draw.
Double-ended tubes take line power on one end and neutral on the other, or across both ends depending on the design. You must follow the wiring diagram printed on the tube. Shunted versus non-shunted sockets also matter. Using the wrong type can create a short or a shock hazard.
Turn power off at the breaker before working. If you're not comfortable with line-voltage wiring, have a licensed electrician do it. After converting, label the fixture so no one later installs a fluorescent tube in it.
Orilis tip: The Orilis 4-pack LED retrofit conversion kit includes everything you need: the LED tubes, wires, tombstones and wire nuts. One kit converts either two fluorescent fixtures with two 4 ft tubes each, or one fluorescent fixture with four 4 ft tubes.
